Damn

I forgot I had this blog. I was only reminded because of my housemate's nail polish blog. I would link to it but no one follows mine anyway, plus her hands are too beautiful for everyone's eyes.

Truthfully, I'm not sure what I should use this for — this isn't as exciting as Tumblr. Also, I'm not very funny or intelligent-sounding so all of my posts sound like I'm either trying hard or trying too hard.

Also, because I don't write as often anymore, my writing skills are seriously plummeting — not like they were that great in the first place.

Anyway, I need to really take a shower. But it's fucking hot so it really won't make a big difference. I have no motivation.

Buffets

I've forgotten I have a blog. Tumblr has been my newfound addiction. I don't know what to make of it. I mean, I literally just scroll mindlessly through posts (mainly pictures) and favorite any that seem somewhat entertaining.

Today, my parents and I took my dad's friend's son out for dinner. We ate at a buffet. I dislike buffets for their overabundance of food. I mean, it is all-you-can-eat. As a girl, it's not really worth it since I know that a good number of females can't eat as much as guys. Anyway, it was a Chinese buffet. Ironically, majority of the customers were not of Asian descent. Physically, majority of the customers were overweight or packing on slightly more poundage than necessary. I guess it's rational. I mean, it is an all-you-can-eat buffet.

In general, I try to stay away from buffets because 1) the buffets we have here are kinda crappy, 2) it encourages me to eat more than I should, and 3) they charge way more than they should.

But then again, it is an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Tumblr

I have a Tumblr. I also have this blog. I feel like blogs are more for mature folk, but I always encounter blogs that talk about immature things. And immaturity. I guess I'm one of those folk.

Visit me at my Tumblr at this link.

You don't have to. I'd just like it if you did.

Don't ask about the name. I know it's odd.

Robot Unicorn Attack

I don't know why I am so into that game. Can someone please explain to me why rainbows, dolphins, unicorns, and the color pink are so appealing to me? It's drugging me to the point that I have developed withdrawal symptoms if I don't play at all. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? And the world thereof?

Orange Orang

I came back home just last week for three weeks of winter break. But I think I'd rather be back in college because it's a lot warmer...in the room, that is. Here, my parents are being penny-savers and because it's not so cold that we'll all freeze our asses off, IT'S ACTUALLY SERIOUSLY, REALLY COLD. My hands are frozen as I type. And even though I tried to play Brawl to warm my fingers up, to no avail did that work. But I guess it's good to be home since I can do and eat whatever I want :) Wait until I get back to college: I'm going to be a round ball of lard after all the Christmas and New Year's parties. Yay for goodness!

I Hate Dead Spiders

Okay, actually, I hate both live and dead spiders. Rubber toy spiders are okay though.

When spiders are alive, they scuttle around and sometimes disappear into places that you don't want them to disappear into. And when they're dead, they just lie there. Disgusting. Ugh. I'm already shivering. Plus there's a dead spider 5 feet away from me. Bleh. Maybe I should get rid of it. Or not. And there it lies. For how long I wonder? Maybe my mom will see it...and if she doesn't, will it just lie there? Do spider corpses decompose? Ehh.

Well, at least I know it died of natural causes. It's better than me killing it. Who wants to clean up a squashed spider?

Shtuff

So I recently came back home to visit for the weekend and all was well. Until it came to the time I had to sleep. I had not been home for about a month, so my mom apparently thought that it would be fine just leaving my bed the way it was...for a whole month. I pull back the covers and blankets and what I find are bugs. Those little, fuzzy infestations that seem to be everywhere and may look cute upon first glance, but are actually horrid little creatures. What's strange is that they do no harm to me, yet I feel slightly ill when I see these tiny creepy-crawlies in my bed. I assumed my mom would have changed the sheets and whatnot for me, but I was wrong. And so, I was stuck with bugs sitting on slightly dusty sheets and blankets that had been sitting in the same place for over a month. In the end, I was getting desperate enough to sleep downstairs on the sofa, but I did not want to leave my already warm sanctuary. So I did what any sane person would do: I ripped everything off my bed, threw all that crap to the ground, and grabbed clean blankets from the closet. Currently I am sitting on this supposed bug-free bed and I am really hoping there are none still on here. Sadly, this goes to show that not all moms are clean freaks. Lesson learned: do not assume Mom will dust and clean room for you when off in college. She has better things to do now.
